Purchase Instructions – Firearms

By law, firearms bought online ship to a licensed dealer (FFL) near you — not directly to you. Your local FFL handles the transfer paperwork when you pick it up. Here’s how it works.

You must be 21 or older to purchase any pistol-grip firearm.

How to Buy a Firearm Online

1

Find your firearm & check out

Choose your firearm and complete checkout (see Payment Methods below). Federal and state law require that the buyer, the person taking delivery, and the payment method all match the same person. Learn more at Don’t Lie for the Other Guy.

2

Choose a local FFL dealer

Pick a licensed dealer near you to receive the firearm. Need one? Use the ATF’s Listing of Federal Firearms Licensees. Confirm they’ll process the transfer and ask their fee — that fee is paid directly to them at pickup.

3

Send us their FFL

Email or fax us a copy of the dealer’s valid FFL along with their contact and shipping details. We will not ship until we’ve received a valid copy of your dealer’s FFL.

4

We ship to your dealer

At your request, we’ll ship your firearm to the FFL dealer you selected. Be sure your dealer knows the transfer and shipment are coming.

5

Inspect & complete the transfer

Inspect the package immediately on arrival, before any paperwork. Report any shipping damage to the carrier right away and file claims with them. Your FFL dealer completes all legally required transfer paperwork when you take delivery.

It’s your responsibility to confirm you may legally purchase and own the firearm in your state and community, and to review our Terms of Sales. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
